Pawan Kalyan’s biggest blockbuster Gabbar Singh is the biggest hit of the year so far and is the all time number 2 film in the history of Telugu cinema. This film has done an amazing feat at the box office. It has achieved number 2 position in all the territories. This is unique record and only Magadheera has done similar feat in the past. Magadheera was the number 1 grosser in all the territories at that time.
Dookudu broke the record of Magadheera in only overseas region and it ended up as third highest in Ceded region. Dookudu came second to Magadheera in all other regions. Racha managed to cross Dookudu in Ceded, Nellore and Utharandhra territories. But Gabbar Singh is the only film that has performed equally well all across the globe. Although it didn’t cross Magadheera in AP and Dookudu in overseas it came very close to those.
Gabbar Singh is now the second top grosser in all the territories of AP including Nellore. It has crossed Racha’s full run collections and did this feat of stamping a ‘Solid 2′ in each and every area. Gabbar Singh is the only second movie to cross 60 crore mark after Magadheera (it crossed 70 crore mark too). Gabbar Singh’s full run collections (share) will be anywhere between 63 to 65 crores. These numbers are not officially announced though. However, few fans claim it to be the number 1 grosser, which is not.
